A 48DD bra fits a 48 inch underband with a five inch difference between your underbust and the fullest part of your bust. Very few brands make a 48 back, so the 48DD range is small, and two of the three styles are non wired.
Our 48DD bras come from Elomi and Royce. If the band feels loose, your sister size is 46E. If the cups overflow, go up to 48E.
